Dwight C. Reynolds, MD, FACEP, Medical Director and CEO
Director of Courses, Chief Surgeon

Dr. Reynolds is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, class of 1978. He did his general surgery training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. He became board certified in emergency medicine in 1985. He has been involved in Aesthetic Surgery (liposuction/body contouring surgery) since 1993. Dr. Reynolds is the CEO and President of Centers for Health Promotion, Inc., located in Coral Springs, Florida. He has developed an international reputation in his teaching techniques and his demand for excellence.

Special Training
Dr. Reynolds received his certification in Liposuction surgery through Patrick L. Lillis, M.D., one of the world's leading authorities and instructors of the tumescent technique. Dr. Reynolds has, in turn, trained other surgeons in both the United States and abroad in the art of Liposuction surgery (Tumescent Technique) at his locations in Florida.

Dr. Reynolds' expertise in Suture Suspension featuring the Reynolds-Serdev Technique is the result of his primary training in Sophia, Bulgaria facilitated by the father of the technique himself: Dr. Nikolay P. Serdev. Dr. Reynolds has been doing the "Serdev Suture Suspension Technique for more than 5 years. Dr. Reynolds has done thousands of procedures without complications. He received his certification by Dr. Nikolay P. Serdev, MD, PhD in Sophia Bulgaria. In November of 2008, Dr. Serdev bestowed upon Dr. Reynolds the title "Master Instructor" in the Serdev Suture Suspension System the only physician in the United States to be given such honor. Dr. Reynolds later modified the technique in several key ways and developed the suture and equipment solutions necessary for FDA approval.

Joseph K. Bivens M.D., Clinical Instructor
Board Certified, Plastic Surgery

Dr. Bivens has been in aesthetic plastic surgery since 1988 and is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery; the only board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties to certify plastic surgeons. He trained in General Surgery at New York Medical College Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla, New York. Plastic Surgery training was done at UC San Diego where he specialized in Cosmetic Surgery, Bresast Surgery and Body Contouring. Dr. Bivens training makes him a unique and critical member to our staff. Dr. Bivens received his Suture Suspension training and certification from Dr. Reynolds.


Robert R. Miles, D.O. Clinical Instructor
Board Certified, Osteopathy

Robert Miles is the Director of Tampa Laser Touch, Perfect Laser Touch, Body By Design, 3D Body Sculpting and Adora Medical Spa in Tampa, Florida. A graduate of Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, he served as a Flight Surgeon in the United States Airforce where he worked as the personal surgeon to many VIPs including the Secretaries of Defense and State, Joint Chiefs, Attourney General, and Presidents Ronald Regan and George H.W. Bush. He went on to work as an Emergency Physician for almost a decade before moving into Family Practice at Miles Medical Center and serving as Chief of Family Practice at Northside Hospital and Tampa Bay Heart Institute. In 2008, he dove into Cosmetic Surgery, training in liposuction under Dr. Dwight C. Reynolds.



John L. Uhl M.D., Clinical Instructor

John L. Uhl, M.D. is founder and chief cosmetic surgeon of NOLA Laser Lipo-sculpture in New Orleans, Lousiana. Dr. Uhl graduated from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans before pursuing a career in Emergency Medicine at LSUHSC in New Orleans. He has exclusively trained under Dr. Dwight C. Reynolds and is a proud member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.

Christine has served as Vice-President of Operations at Centers for Health Promotion since its inception. She also serves as the head trainer of Nurses and Surgical Technicians in the cosmetic field at CHP.

Adrian J. Reynolds, Director of Marketing

Director of Marketing, IT Consultant

Adrian has served as Director of Marketing at Centers for Health Promotion since 2007 and also supplies additional services and IT work through his company, The Pixel Department. Adrian has helped grow the domestic and international presence of Centers for Health promotion, who now enjoys traffic and attention from the world over.
